How We Got Started
Before Lindsay Howard and Laurie Miller-Turner first opened Crescent Health in 2013, the practice had been owned and operated by Dr. Harry Allen III since 1984.
Lindsay first started working with Dr. Allen in 2001, while Laurie joined the team later in 2010. But when he retired, they purchased the business and decided to rename it “Crescent Healthcare.”

In 2017, they implemented a weight loss program that proved to be popular and effective among their patients. Now, Crescent Healthcare is simultaneously a healthcare practice, a weight loss center, and a wellness clinic in Florence. We are proud to offer a variety of medical, wellness, aesthetic, and weight loss treatments to help clients not only feel their best, but also look their best, every day.
